FYI...

[edit]

Manually moving a page automatically creates a proper JS redirect; that is, an importScript with a parameter of the new location, as you can see at https://wiki.eso.workers.dev/w/index.php?title=User:Anne_drew_Andrew_and_Drew/PageDetails.js&redirect=no. No problem with your message, though! Aaron Liu (talk) 13:26, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Aaron Liu, that functionality is currently broken. See this discussion for context. Thanks – Anne drew 16:30, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Auto-archival cleanup

[edit]

Hello! Since you were recently renamed, some of your talk subpages have outdated configurations for {{User:MiszaBot/config}}. They need to be updated by replacing your old username with your current username on the following: User talk:Anne drew/Dasher and User talk:Anne drew/SetupAutoArchive

You might also consider asking for U1 deletion of User talk:Anne drew/Dasher and its redirects, since the associated 'Dasher' user page seems to have been deleted prior to the rename and no one has commented there. Peace! Retro (talk | contribs) 07:05, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Or I guess Aidan9382 went along and adjusted the args. That works too. Retro (talk | contribs) 18:23, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you both! I've tagged the "Dasher" talk page for deletion. – Anne drew 00:16, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No joke: you are awesome at the copy edit game. Way, way more efficient than I am. I'm now slightly embarressed by the number of edits it took me to shake out the articles linked on my user page. -- Very Polite Person (talk) 01:40, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Aw thank you so much! To be fair, I do use generative AI occasionally to help restructure and reword things (always double checking citations of course), so I can’t take all the credit. But I really appreciate it! I was equally impressed with how much you improved the article today. Nice work! – Anne drew 02:08, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! It's a chore but I'm going to try to properly name references as they come in, I'm a bit of a stickler for that on articles I've built out. I often end up finding another easter egg or three in prior sources, so easier to reuse then, and keeps things tidy. 39 and counting to go... -- Very Polite Person (talk) 16:51, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
