A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Purple Barnstar
Some people. Thanks for being here. 🌻 ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:05, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@ToBeFree Thanks for the barnstar. I love it; it's unique compared to most of the ones I got and it's in my favorite color! I don't let the harassment and personal attacks get to me; I'm just glad to be here and helping no matter what. SunilNevlaFan 21:08, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
😊 ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:09, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for protecting my talk page as well. SunilNevlaFan 21:10, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Traveller/traveler in the article Baggage

[edit]

Sorry for the sloppily-worded edit summary in my edit.[1] Hopefully you can gather from it my point that the IP's edit may have been a good-faith attempt to fix a MOS:ENGVAR problem. Asking that you consider removing the vandalism warning from their talk page, but it's entirely up to you. Appreciate all you do. Cheers! --DB1729talk 16:39, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@DB1729: Thanks for letting me know. I'll remove my warning. --SunilNevlaFan 16:42, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Protection

[edit]

I've temporarily semi-protected your talk page, but let me know if you'd prefer it to stay unlocked. DanCherek (talk) 02:13, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. all the IPs this person uses geolocate to different places, so it's likely they're using proxies. I suggest that you should hardblock their IPs as a proxy. wizzito | say hello! 02:15, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@DanCherek Thanks for doing so. I wonder if anyone knows who this troll is anyway. I know that they like to target the Turning Red topic and me because I posted the fact that I love that movie on here, but I haven't found anything from the available LTA information. SunilNevlaFan 02:17, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm 99.9% sure that they're the same LTA as Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Farceloo and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ByteOr/Archive. Most of them are linked by their references to Chris Chan and the fact that they have a very similar editing pattern. wizzito | say hello! 02:19, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the information @Wizzito. SunilNevlaFan 02:21, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

[edit]

Saw you have a few barnstars, so here's a kitten! For fantastic work on Wikipedia.

Roundishtc) 14:34, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Roundish Thanks for the kitten! It's adorable. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I was the unintentional victim of an autoblock and decided to use the time to take a Wikibreak. SunilNevlaFan 21:13, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring with vandals

[edit]

Hi SunilNevlaFan. Thanks for all the work you do reverting vandalism. A quick note, though: Please don't edit-war with vandals. It just clogs up page histories and watchlists. Especially if the edit they're making isn't, on its own, that objectionable. In a case like this LTA, there's multiple admins watching the page, and if one of us doesn't block quickly, a no-warning report to AIV is fine. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 22:20, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your username

[edit]

Apparently I suck at reading because until just now, I thought your username was "Sunli Nevela Fan". ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:36, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Blaze Wolf Hehe. Well, I do plan to change it again later this month. SunilNevlaFan 18:43, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah alright. I have a feeling I misread it because it's intended to be an Indian sounding name which tend to sound and be spelled weird. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:48, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Blaze Wolf True, true. Also, the way you read my username gave me the idea of creating another doppelganger account, though I don't know if anyone will try to impersonate me with this name once I change it. Who knows? SunilNevlaFan 19:05, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just realized I've known you for a lot longer than I Initially thought. I've known you since your username was LPS and MLP fan. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:51, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Geez, when will they stop? I thought it was the end of it since Widr's semi-protected your talk page. Tails Wx 00:22, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Tails Wx I know, right? When I checked on my Wikipedia account, I found out that I had 99+ notifications. My first thought was "dang." An IP requested extended confirmed protection, which I endorsed. SunilNevlaFan 03:14, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, ECP's the right choice. It's been protected now. Tails Wx 03:16, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Tails Wx By the way, I thank you and @Lolkikmoddi for taking care of things while I was off-wiki. SunilNevlaFan 03:19, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I've added your talk page to my watchlist, just in case if that happens again. :) Tails Wx 03:20, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you constructively edit again, you may be given a barnstar without further warning.

@Dinoz1: Hey again! You got me with that. I haven't seen you around here in a while. How've you been? Zoe Trent Fan🎤💍 17:52, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Zoe Trent Fan: Doing pretty well! I took a long break from Wikipedia because I felt discouraged (and was pretty busy with schoolwork), what about you? Dinoz1 (chat?) 17:53, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dinoz1: I've been doing great as well. Even though I got school too, I always find time to edit. Zoe Trent Fan🎤💍 17:54, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Zoe Trent Fan: Nice to hear you're doing good and still editing! I'm thinking of applying for Rollback permissions in a few months, and being honest, I won't be surprised if you become an admin one day! Dinoz1 (chat?) 17:57, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dinoz here on an alt account, I signed out because I decided to try out for rollback/reviewer permissions early (didn't want any error to happen to my account!) Dinoz1 (ALT) (talk) 13:39, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption

[edit]

Hi Zoe Trent Fan. I posted on my user page that I was looking for someone to adopt me. You asked on my talk page 4.5 years ago if you could adopt me. Are you still open regarding it? I doubt that you would remember me because I deliberately did not do editing for years to gain back my peace of mind and confidence from users such as Howard the duck that are seemingly micromanaging my edits and rejecting them. I apologize that I was out for a long time. Thank you in advance! elivic (talk) elivic (talk) 12:15, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Elivic. I'm sorry, but I don't do adoptions anymore. Lately, I have become more inactive on the site. However, I'm glad to see that you came back after such a long time. I hope that you'll continue contributing. Zoe Trent Fan🎤💍 13:53, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
