Candidates in GOP Primary Election Infoboxes

[edit]

Good afternoon. I am here today to ask you to stop removing the candidate from primary election infoboxes for the 2024 Republican Primary, as it was deemed to not add candidates to the infobox until the primaries had started. They started yesterday and therefore it is no longer too early to add them. Respectfully ~ HistorianL (talk) 23:58, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Both Asa Hutchinson and Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out following the Iowa caucus, seeing as theres no telling to if and when others candidates could withdraw having all of them on the infobox months in advance is premature. TheFellaVB (talk) 00:00, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
and Desantis has now dropped out as well, see why I said to not add candidates too far ahead because we don't know what would happen? TheFellaVB (talk) 20:06, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove edite that have consenus.

I reached consensus from people one very active editor also. Do not revert edits unless you have a larger consensus otherwise. IEditPolitics (talk) 22:49, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have about 3 people in support and 2 opposed, It's a premature move to make the change until the consensus is clear and debate can be heard. TheFellaVB (talk) 00:15, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why.

[edit]

Why did you change Biden's 2023 photo to the presidential potrait on the 2024 election page? MJGTMKME123 (talk) 21:34, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly you did not read my edit notes. 2 months ago I made a discussion post asking if Biden's picture could be used as it was precedent that when a President runs for re-election their Presidential portrait be used. After 2 months nobody had disagreed and several people had said they supported the decision so I took action and changed the photo. Please read the edit notes and the talk pages. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:50, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
