@Kailash29792: Two things – RfC and consensus. And, I've just followed both. —Vensatry (talk) 03:24, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- In addition, please apply your commonsense before arriving at ridiculous conclusions. —Vensatry (talk) 03:26, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- I don't recall disagreeing with you, or saying you were wrong. Bollyjeff revealed an archived discussion in which Cyphoidbomb said Indic scripts may be added to infoboxes and even gave a a justified explanation on why they are right to add there. I said you disagree, because you have been following a contradictory RfC which I believe triumphs over Cyphoidbomb's explanation. Complying with that RfC, I began a genocide of infobox indic scripts, which I think attracted Jeff's attention who then revealed Cyphoidbomb's explanation to me (perhaps he didn't know about the contradictory RfC then). Am I wrong anywhere here about you? I don't think so. --Kailash29792 (talk) 04:29, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- As far as I can see, neither Bollyjeff nor Cyphoidbomb made any reference to me in this regard. But have a look at your response to the former: Unfortunately, Vensatry doesn't agree; he removed an indic script, citing WP:INDICSCRIPT. As if I was the one who initiated the RfC. Heck, I did not even have a say at the discussion? —Vensatry (talk) 06:11, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

A concern you had in your review at Template:Did you know nominations/Envisioning Asia has been addressed. North America1000 23:08, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
I want to make it a GA. If interested, can you let me know whether you are willing to review this? In case not, i would be grateful if you can suggest minor tweaks and changes that can be done about its prose, italicising, images etc. if any. Regards, ** Pavan Jandhyala ** 15:57, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

- Nartanasala is done and Pellichoopulu is dropped. I have begun work on Simhachalam and as per my assessment, half of the work is done till now. Would you like to comment on the progress? This is the version before i began the work and this is the latest one. ** Pavan Jandhyala ** 15:54, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

Regarding Tiruchirapalli International airport Wikipedia page
The editor named "Amdmustafa" is unwantedly giving false propaganda. Please understand us. The National Highway (NH-210) road, starts at Tiruchirapalli has been extended upto Ramanathapuram from Pudukottai. It is also in Indian government gazette records.
Give us rights to include the word Ramanathapuram instead of Pudukottai.

- Initially, i too was worried about the same (MCA is his 20th film as the lead). But looking back at Shruti Haasan filmography, whose credits are 27 after counting special appearances, i felt i can give a try. The total entries for Nani's list are 26 now, which is somewhat better. And, even if it fails, i am least bothered as there is nothing actually to lose. Indigo Destinations @ Madurai Airport
Hi, I need your help with regards to Indigo destinations @ Madurai Airport. I have attached the screenshot from their website.
The user Anandprakash1999 keeps reverting it even after mentioning in edit summary with flight number and also on his talk page. I know I have violated 3RR rule in the process, but dont know how to stop him from reverting. Kindly look into this. Thanks in advance Amdmustafa (talk) 09:35, 3 July 2017 (UTC)

- @Amdmustafa: Consider WP:DR —Vensatry (talk) 06:00, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, I have already taken up the issue to Dispute Resolution Notice Board 3 hrs ago. It is yet to be taken by a volunteer. I would like your suggestion in two things.
- @Amdmustafa: Consider WP:DR —Vensatry (talk) 06:00, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
1. I had gone through other DRN cases. I found that the cases which are not discussed properly in the respective talk page are closed right away asking the person who submitted the case to first conduct a discussion on the talk page. But here, the other users are not ready to discuss even though I have posted on the article talk page and also on their user talk page. So what shall be done for this? 2. After I submitted in DRN, the issue has gone under "closed discussion" automatically even before any volunteer take up the issue. How could that be corrected?
Finally, IMHO, Though I have filed in DRN, I think that this is not such a big issue to be discussed in DRN. An admin can easily cross-verify the thing and stop edit-warring if having enough time.
Thanks in advance. Amdmustafa (talk) 07:51, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
WikiCup 2017 July newsletter
The third round of the competition has finished in a flurry of last minute activity, with 288 points being required to qualify for round 4. It was a hotly competitive round with all but four of the contestants exceeding the 106 points that was necessary to proceed to round 4 last year. Coemgenus and Freikorp tied on 288, and both have been allowed to proceed, so round 4 now has one pool of eight competitors and one of nine.
Round 3 saw the achievement of a 26-topic Featured topic by MPJ-DK as well as 5 featured lists and 13 featured articles. PanagiotisZois and SounderBruce achieved their first ever featured articles. Carbrera led the GA score with 10, Tachs achieved 17 DYKs and MBlaze Lightning 10 In the news items. There were 167 DYKs, 93 GARs and 82 GAs overall, this last figure being higher than the number of GAs in round 2, when twice as many people were taking part. Even though contestants performed more GARs than they achieved GAs, there was still some frustration at the length of time taken to get articles reviewed.
As we start round 4, we say goodbye to the fifteen or so competitors who didn't quite make it; thank you for the useful contributions you have made to the Cup and Wikipedia. Remember that any content promoted after the end of round 3 but before the start of round 4 can be claimed in round 4. Remember too that you must claim your points within 10 days of "earning" them (some people have fallen foul of this rule and the points have been removed).
If you are concerned that your nomination, whether it be for a good article, a featured process, or anything else, will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. It would be helpful if this list could be cleared of any items no longer relevant. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Statistics in Tiruchirappalli International Airport page
Hi there, just need a clarification on adding statistics in small airports like Tiruchirappalli International Airport. The current stats are already mentioned in info box with regards to passenger handled, aircraft movement and cargo handled. Is it necessary to add historic data for such small airport which seems insignificant? Kindly note that this page has just witnessed a sock puppet who was blocked later. Kindly check if any of the recent user is sock puppet. Thanks in advance Amdmustafa (talk) 08:20, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- This one seems like content dispute. The user in question has already been reported for edit warring on Tiruchirappalli. If you suspect that some socking is going around, feel free to add a report on WP:SPI. —Vensatry (talk) 08:55, 2 July 2017 (UTC)

Telugu VIP 2 is shot
As stated by the Kolaveri boy himself through the words "Yes, that’s why I felt part two should be a straight Telugu film than a dubbed one." Anyway, rather than adding a new row for Telugu VIP 2, would it be better to write in Tamil VIP 2's cell under the Notes column something like, "Simultaneously shot in Telugu as VIP 2"? --Kailash29792 (talk) 18:35, 11 August 2017 (UTC)

WikiCup 2018
So the 2017 WikiCup has come to an end. Congratulations to the winner, to the other finalists and to all those who took part. 177 contestants signed up, more than usual, but not all of them submitted entries in the first round. Were editors attracted by the cash prizes offered for the first time this year, or were these irrelevant? Do the rules and scoring need changing for the 2018 WikiCup? If you have a view on these or other matters, why not join in the WikiCup discussion about next year's contest?
