Hi everyone! At our last meetup people expressed interest in having a similar casual meetup bi-monthly. Here's that!

Time: 11AM. I will try to arrive a little early to secure seating, and I'll have to leave before 4:30. However, the cafe is open until 12AM, so feel free to party all night.

Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024

About: This will be a casual meetup to chat, edit, and meet your fellow Wikipedians.

Bring: A laptop.

Transit info: The Pig is located a 5-minute walk from the Fullerton Red/Brown line stop, as well as the 8 and 74 buses. There is both metered parking and free parking in the area, but note that finding parking might be tricky since this is a peak time.

Think someone mentioned a Wikipedia discord server; is there one?

Also @Luiysia you might also know some other members of the Chicago Mechanical Keyboard group; since keyboards are the most common text input used for editing I might try to set up some Wikipedia presence at future keyboard meetups (next one is at the Design Museum on Jan 18th starting at 1PM) Myoglobin (talk) 17:12, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
