Page mover

I'm short of 3,000 edits requirement (currently at 2,400). I request page-moving rights as I'm encountering problems when reviewing new pages. Specifically, I face issues leaving redirects to (bad) pages I move to the draft space. Page-moving rights would help prevent redirects from being flagged for speedy deletion. @Anuwrites: If you use the MoveToDraft script, it will automatically tag the move redirect for deletion, at which point it takes little work for an admin to check and delete the redirect (with no additional work for you). The script will also show a warning if you try draftifying an article within an hour of its last edit despite WP:NPPHOUR, as happened in this move yesterday. And it will leave a notification on the talk page of the article's creator, which you should be doing as explained at WP:DRAFTNOTIFY. Based on that, there isn't sufficient cause to make an exception to the guidelines for granting, plus your draftifications could still do with checking.  Not done. @SilverLocust Thank you for simplying the process for me, seems like I didn't need the right at this time, I installed the "MoveToDraft script" and it has done awesome on Draft:Hiroshi Suzuki (ambassador) page. This is all that I wanted, CIAO. ANUwrites 22:47, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, with no prejudice to filing again once the minimum numerical requirements are met and a need is demonstrated. Primefac (talk) 15:53, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
