Thanks for your contributions to Charlie Chan is Dead: An Anthology of Contemporary Asian American Fiction. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ae245 (talk) 07:11, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Free Press. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your many recent creations

[edit]

Hi there, Phibeatrice, and thank you for your many recent contributions on literature. I've been looking through them, reviewing and rating where necessary, and am happy to see that under your Itools listing, you now have over 40 articles in Start class or higher -- quite an achievement over such a short period. I have also noticed your special interest in women writers and their publications. You may therefore be interested in joining WikiProject Women in Red where we are trying to improve the coverage of women on the English Wikipedia. You can sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 15:31, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for reviewing my pages! It really means a lot. I'll definitely put my name down for the WikiProject.

Bold, italics, and nesting tags

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that recently in several articles, for example Mild Vertigo, you inserted markup of the form <b><i>...</b></i>.

  • Tags must nest, so this markup should be rewritten as <b><i>...</i></b>.
  • In Wikipedia, it's preferred to mark up italics as ''...'', bold as '''...''', and bold italics as '''''...'''''.

Cheers! —Anomalocaris (talk) 19:38, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the tip! I will use the preferred bold italics notation in all future articles.

Articles

[edit]

Hello Phibeatrice! Thanks for all the articles you've written in the last few days. The articles on literature and music are well researched and written and I really enjoyed reviewing them.

Do be careful about writing about subjects that you might be close to. Some of your biographies are a bit problematic with notability (I've tagged some of them). Sources written by the subject themselves don't count towards notability, as with most sources simply saying that the subject has won an award without biographical coverage or coverage on their work. Feel free to ask me to elaborate on any specific article and I'll give an in depth explanation into it.

I'd like to echo the above that writing so many high quality articles in such a short period of time is quite an achievement. I look forward to reading more of your articles! Ask me anything on Wikipedia if you are confused (ping me!). I'll be happy to help with finding Chinese sources if you don't speak the language. Justiyaya 02:47, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thank you for the feedback. I understand entirely what you’re referring to on some of my pages, and I’ll be sure to exercise stricter discretion on sourcing and notability. That being said, I’m not close to any of the subjects I’ve written about—personally or professionally—so I hope that won’t be a problem. In any case, however, I hear the concerns about notability writ large: I’ll revisit the pages and try to better establish their notability with high-quality, independent sources. I appreciate your note!

Notice

The article 128 Lit has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Sources cited are blogs, interviews, directories, or the organization itself. Upon searching, I cannot find any additional source material which would demonstrate notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Seraphimblade Talk to me 15:54, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The concerns are understood. The page can be deleted. Phibeatrice (talk) 15:55, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for I Hotel (novel)

[edit]

On 2 December 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article I Hotel (novel), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Karen Tei Yamashita realized the structure of her novel, I Hotel, by cutting, folding, and writing on ten cardboard cubes, each representing a year in the book? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/I Hotel (novel). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, I Hotel (novel)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Nobel prizes

[edit]

Hi, thanks for your nobel prize articles. I edited Template:Nobel Prize winners footer/year so that the nobel prize winner navbars based on Template:Year Nobel Prize winners link to the articles you created instead of the templates itself as it was before. I think that helps finding your articles, feel free to revert if you don't like it. Killarnee (talk) 07:09, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of "Close to You" (Frank Ocean song)

[edit]

Hello Phibeatrice,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged "Close to You" (Frank Ocean song) for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want "Close to You" (Frank Ocean song) to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
